Labor Day Weekend Fun:

Alpharetta Concert Series on The Green: September 1 Held on the beautiful Town Green, which includes plenty of room for picnic blankets and lawn chairs, and is in walking distance to more than 30 chef-driven and locally-owned restaurants featuring everything from farm-to-table comfort food to tasty tacos.

Unleash & Unplug at Fetch Park Alpharetta: September 1 Live music with a rotating list of musicians. Fetch Park is a dog-friendly social hub so you don’t need a pup of your own!

Labor Day Pig Out @ The Avalon: Septemeber 3 From 5 to 8pm, head out to Palmer Plaza (the green space between Oak and Colletta in Avalon) for full access to an all-you-can-eat holiday feast featuring pork and all the sides. 

Putt-Putt Pop Up at The Hamilton Alpharetta: September 2 The 9-hole customized mini golf course will feature sponsored holes from celebrated local businesses. 

Alpharetta Farmers Market: Downtown Alpharetta Saturday Mornings 8:30am Enjoy fruits, vegetables and natural meats, gardeners with fresh flowers and herbs, and makers of all sorts of edible home goods from yummy desserts and breads to local raw honey and homemade sauces, jellies, soaps.

Milton Farmers Market: Downtown Crabapple Saturday Morning 8:30am Enjoy dozen vendors, live entertainment as well as other special activities and offerings. In addition to everything you can buy and see, the market is a wonderful opportunity to rub elbows with neighbors in the heart of Milton's downtown. 

Festivals and Events:

Grand Tasting Alpharetta: September 7 @ The Hotel Avalon, Enjoy an exciting evening filled with complimentary bites from the best restaurants and chefs, a decadent dessert bar, wine, beer & craft cocktail tastings, live music and lots of entertainment options.

Yellow Daisy Festival: September 7-10 at Stone Mountain Park, Visit 400 artists and crafters, including 100 new artists this year! Fabulous festival food, crafter demonstrations, live music, and a beer garden are the highlights of this special event.

Annual Roswell Arts Festival: September 16-17, Artists and local entertainment, children's activities, food trucks, and a healthy dose of small town charm.

Atlanta Food & Wine Festival: September 20-24, From its signature walk around Tasting Tents to gourmet gatherings, the festival gathers over 200 of the most celebrated chefs for a weekend savoring, sipping, and sharing in the exceptional flavors of the region.

North Georgia State Fair: September 21 @ Jim R. Miller Park & Event Center

Alive in Roswell: September 21 featuring music, food trucks, hundreds of interactive vendors, and enjoys participation from the many boutiques, small businesses and restaurants surrounding the venues.

Alpharetta Brew Moon Festival: September 23, Rock the night away in Downtown Alpharetta with a true “Dancing in the Street” party featuring your favorite Jekyll Brewing beers, live music from The Rupert’s Orchestra, plus a variety of food tents and local eateries.

Georgia State Fair: September 29 @ Atlanta Motor Speedway ft. petting zoo, camel rides, pig races, fair rides, live music and more.

Alpharetta Scarecrow Harvest: September 28, Downtown Alpharetta will come alive with more than 150 whimsical scarecrows designed by local schools, classrooms, non-profits, neighborhoods, families, and local businesses.

Roswell Wine Festival: September 30-October 1, Historic Roswell’s 10th annual Roswell Wine Festival. Take a leisurely stroll along Canton Street to sample wines from your favorite participating restaurants and businesses, while enjoying live music from notable local bands. 

Chandler Park Fall Fest: September 30-October 1, among the most beloved festivals in metro Atlanta. Two days of music, art, food, games, rides and special attractions draw 20,000 people a day to a beautiful in-town park and onto the streets of the surrounding neighborhood. And the cost of entrance? Free.
